I
sell exhibition-quality prints to a wide variety of customers. I personally
fine-tune each image in Photoshop, so whether you choose an archival
pigment print or a canvas print, you are getting a handcrafted print
that closely reflects what I envisioned when the image was captured.
All prints are shipped unframed and rolled in a tube. You can choose
from the following:
Archival pigment prints on archival watercolor-type
paper produce the richest, deepest and most satisfying color prints.
Pigment prints have been independently tested for longevity, and should
last for generations without fading or color shift. The image is printed
with a border for framing, and space for numbering and a signature.
Canvas prints offer a clean and intimate presentation
that focuses on the image itself without matting or glare from glass.
A canvas print wrapped on stretcher bars is complete without a frame,
although you can add a frame if you prefer. When compared to a matted
print, the canvas print looks more like a painting, but it also preserves
the rich colors, tonal depth, and fine details of a traditional photograph.
After the canvas print has dried thoroughly, it receives a matte laminate
protective layer to protect the inks and so it can be cleaned with
a damp cloth.
Expected Display Life
Wilheim Imaging Research has calculated a display life of 75 to 100
years under normal conditions. As with any piece of fine art, the
image should not be exposed to high levels of moisture, ultraviolet
light, or strong sunlight. Treat your print just as you would treat
a fine art watercolor painting, and it will provide many years of
pleasurable viewing.
Print Editions and Signature
All prints are produced in a Limited Edition of 50 per image regardless
of size. Prints are usually signed and numbered either in the lower
left corner on the front or on the back, according to client preference;
or the print can remain unsigned or signed elsewhere. Personalized
inscriptions are another choice. You can mat the print with or without
the inscriptions, since they are not in the image area.
Print sizes
Sizes can vary slightly depending on the image, from 20 inches
to 120 inches on the longer side. Certain images can be printed in
larger sizes. Custom orders are welcome.
Shipping
Shipping, packaging, and insurance will be charged separately. Prints
are shipped in a sealed tube via the USPS (US Postal Service), UPS
(United Parcel Service), or Federal Express. Your package will be
insured and traceable.
Ordering Process
Print prices exclude framing, matting, or mounting, though framing
is also available, with price dependent on your needs. If I am shipping
the print to your specified location, it is more economical to have
the print framed after you receive it. I normally process orders promptly,
within a week or two, but if I am traveling, print orders can take
a bit longer. Please contact me at my office (575-751-4343) to verify
current edition availability, prices, and ordering. I am also almost
always in touch via email (terryt@taosnet.com)
and can respond quickly to your inquiry.
Taxes
For shipments to New Mexico residents, a required gross receipts tax
will be added.
Guarantee of satisfaction
The highly compressed images you see on my website cannot do justice
to the detail and colors of the final prints. As we recognize that
you have not seen the print prior to purchase, we will refund you
fully and without question the price of any print returned within
30 days in new condition. We will replace at no charge any print damaged
in transit to you. We will replace at a nominal price any print damaged
by you or your framer. Because of the time limit on this warranty,
you must contact me immediately if problems are discovered upon receipt
of the print.
